  • ST. LOUIS SPORTS COMMISSION’S YOUNG PROFESSIONALS GROUP ANNOUNCES RECIPIENTS OF 2018 SPORTSMANSHIP SCHOLARSHIPS

    ORGANIZATION AWARDS $17,500 TO FIVE AREA STUDENTS FOR EXEMPLIFYING CLASS AND CHARACTER ON THE PLAYING FIELD

    ST. LOUIS – May 30, 2018 – Catherine Arnold, Imanté Griffin, Madelyn Hubbs, Connor Kingsland and Mary LaBelle are the recipients of the 2018 Carl Fricks Sportsmanship Scholarships.  The scholarships are awarded by the St. Louis Sports Commission’s young professionals group – the Sports Commission Associates – and recognize graduating high school seniors from the region who embody outstanding sportsmanship.  The five students were selected from 80 applications.

LOUIS – April 30, 2018 – Registration for the 2018 Biz Dash 5K opens tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10 a.m. at stlbizdash.com.  Known as St. Louis’ biggest office party, the event takes place at Soldiers Memorial on Thursday, Sept. 27.  The Biz Dash is the perfect opportunity for St. Louis area businesses to bring employees together to promote a healthy, active lifestyle, while having a fun night with friends and colleagues.  More than 250 companies and 6,000 individual runners and walkers are expected to participate in the third year event.
