FANS ENCOURAGED TO BECOME FAMILIAR WITH HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICIES

ST. LOUIS – March 16, 2021 – St. Louis will host the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships Thursday through Saturday (March 18-20) at Enterprise Center. This marks the ninth time since 2000 the event has taken place in the Gateway City. The St. Louis Sports Commission and University of Missouri will serve as co-hosts for the event.

This is the second NCAA championship to take place in St. Louis this month. The NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships were held last weekend at America’s Center with 132 student-athletes competing. The NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships will feature 330 student-athletes vying for national titles in 10 weight classes and an overall team national championship.

The St. Louis Sports Commission, Enterprise Center and the NCAA have been working with (and will continue working with) the City of St. Louis Department of Health on protocols and procedures to make the health and safety of everyone at the Championships the top priority.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions a limited number of tickets were allocated to the participating schools for the three-day event. The NCAA will have no additional public ticket sales for this year’s Championships.

The health of the student-athletes, coaches, fans, and event and support staff is an ongoing priority of the NCAA and its member institutions. Fans attending the Championships in St. Louis are encouraged to become familiar with the following policies related to health and safety protocols:

FACE COVERING POLICY

While on Enterprise Center property, guests over the age of two are required to wear a cloth face covering or mask at all times except when actively eating or drinking. Face coverings must be medical grade masks or 3-layer cloth coverings (or at least 2-layer cloth layers with a filter). Bandanas, gaiters, face coverings with valves or vents, and face coverings with only a single layer of fabric are not permitted.

Eating and drinking is allowed in your seating pod or in designated areas on the concourse. Eating and drinking is prohibited while walking from the concession stand to your seat.

ADDITIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES

Wash hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water. Automatic soap dispensers and hand sanitizer dispensers will be widely available throughout Enterprise Center. Fans are allowed to bring in a small, clear hand sanitizer bottle.

Guests should practice physical distancing by maintaining at least six feet of distance between other patrons outside of their seating pod. Please be respectful of other fans and their space.

NO BAG POLICY

Enterprise Center has a NO BAG policy for all events. Medical and parent bags are exceptions, but will be subject to x-ray screening at designated locations for entry into Enterprise Center.

Fans may still bring binoculars and cameras (no detachable lenses) if they are not in cases. Smart phones are allowed.

Working personnel, including media, can enter Enterprise Center through designated gates where they will be subject to screening and bag inspections already in effect for the Championships.

NO RE-ENTRY

In order to provide the safest environment for all, guests will not be permitted to exit and re-enter Enterprise Center during the Championships. Guests wishing to exit Enterprise Center for any reason during a session will not be allowed back into the arena.

EXPERIENCING SYMPTOMS

Fans are asked to stay home if they have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms:

• Fever
• Cough
• Chills
• Muscle pain
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Sore throat
• New loss of taste or smell

CASH FREE FACILITY

To allow for a more contactless experience, Enterprise Center now operates as a cash-free facility at concessions and retail locations. Payment with debit or credit cards, Google Pay or Apple Pay will be accepted at these locations. A reverse ATM is available at the arena for guests’ convenience. Please note that parking facilities surrounding Enterprise Center may still require cash.
