SINGLE-SESSION TICKETS ON SALE NOW FOR 2018 NCAA WOMEN’S BOWLING CHAMPIONSHIP IN ST. LOUIS

ST. LOUIS – April 5, 2018 – Single-session tickets are now on sale for the 2018 NCAA Women’s Bowling Championship in St. Louis.  Fans can purchase tickets online at stlsports.org/bowling.  Tickets will also be sold during the championship, April 12-14, at Tropicana Lanes in Richmond Heights. Admission for the sessions on Thursday and Friday is $15 ($10 for students).  The Saturday morning round, if necessary, will have the same ticket prices.  Tickets for the championship session at 5:30 p.m. Saturday are $20 ($15 for students).

All-session packages, providing admission to all six rounds of the championship, are $35 ($25 for students).

Four teams will compete in opening-round matches to finalize the eight-team bracket.  The opening round matches take place Friday, April 6 and Saturday, April 7, and include Lincoln Memorial University hosting Texas Southern University and Saint Francis University (Pa.) hosting Bowie State.  The championship matches at Tropicana Lanes in St. Louis begin on Thursday and will be double-elimination with each round consisting of a best-of-three match.

McKendree won its first National Collegiate Women’s Bowling Championship in 2017 in Baton Rouge, La., defeating Nebraska.

The University of Central Missouri and the St. Louis Sports Commission serve as hosts for the 2018 event, which will take place in the Gateway City for the second time (Tropicana Lanes was also the site of the championship in 2015).  For more information on the 2018 NCAA Women’s Bowling Championship, visit stlsports.org/bowling.
