Vice President – Marketing & Development
Marc Schreiber is the vice president of marketing & development for the St. Louis Sports Commission. Marc has primary responsibility for all non-event revenue generation for the Sports Commission and its affiliated St. Louis Sports Foundation. He oversees organizational fundraising, marketing, communications, legislative affairs and the Foundation’s sportsmanship programs. Additionally, he serves as the executive producer of the Musial Awards, which the Sports Commission hosts annually, and he coordinates the organization’s Olympic Legacy initiative, which celebrates St. Louis’ role in the Olympic movement.
Marc’s highlights with the Sports Commission include overseeing the Century of St. Louis Sports Celebration in 1999; chairing the local task force for the 2004 Olympic Torch Relay; serving as co-chair for the 2005 and 2009 Final Four March to the Arch; and helping create the Musial Awards – a one-of-a-kind national event celebrating extraordinary sportsmanship and the legacy of Stan the Man. In 2017, Marc received the National Association of Sports Commissions’ High Five Award recognizing his leadership in the sports tourism industry connected to legislative efforts and the development of the Musial Awards.
A St. Louis native, Marc has been with the Sports Commission since 1998. He is a 1997 graduate of Northwestern University where he majored in journalism and going to Wrigley Field to root against the Cubs. Marc and his wife Erin are proud parents of twin daughters.
