Brent Shulman is the director of public relations and strategic communications for the St. Louis Sports Commission. He is responsible for organizing and directing the Sports Commission’s public relations, communications, and new media efforts. Brent oversees the organization’s community engagement and visibility efforts and manages the media presence at the Sports Commission’s owned and acquired events. Brent also manages and implements the day-to-day technology needs for the staff. He has been with the Sports Commission since 2008.

Prior to joining the Sports Commission, Brent completed four internships during his collegiate career. Those experiences included the sports department at KMOX Radio (1120 AM) in St. Louis, a marketing and communications internship with the St. Louis Sports Commission and two internships with the Big Ten Network – one in game day production and the other covering the Indiana Hoosiers for

Brent is a 2008 graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind., where he majored in sport communication – broadcast. Brent is also an adjunct professor at Webster University. He is an avid fan of his hometown St. Louis teams and the Indiana Hoosiers. A St. Louis native, Brent lives in Chesterfield, Mo. with his wife Amanda and daughter Rebecca.
